AccuAir Mandatory App Update

All AccuAir ECUs require a mandatory app update. Below are instructions and recommendations for a smooth process.

The app's Bluetooth connectivity will be greatly improved over the version currently available on the app store, and the included ECU firmware update will improve connectivity even further.

The ECU firmware update will be forced due to iOS and Android restrictions expected in 2025. Without a forced firmware update, future phone software updates can prevent the mobile app from communicating with the ECU entirely.
  • Move your phone as close to possible to the ECU.
  • If the update fails, attempt the update again.
  • If the ECU is not locatable through the app, pull the fuse to the system and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. During these 5-10 minutes, uninstall and reinstall the app and restart your phone. The app should be able to find the ECU after this process.
  1. Start vehicle and app
  2. Connect to the ECU. If the ECU is not calibrated, an update will not be prompted. There is no way to use the app and not update the ECU.
  3. Keep the mobile device close to the ECU.
  4. Do not use the mobile device when the update is in progress. Find a time to fully dedicate the mobile device to updating the ECU. Do NOT close the app when the update is in-progress. Please note: If the app is closed when the update is in-progress, pull the fuse and restart the ECU.
  5. Wait until the app update progress reaches 100%. When 100% is reached, it will take some more time to verify and install the update.
  6. When the update is complete, the splash screen should show. Connect to the ECU. If another update is prompted, the update failed. Try again. If no update is prompted, navigate to Settings->Software Version->e-Level+ Firmware->Current: Current version should be 2.9.7
  7. If the ECU is not discoverable on the app: Pull the fuse on the ECU and let it rest for 5 minutes before plugging it back in. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Restart the mobile device.
